Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just For Adults Torquay, Torquay

The hotel is nestled in a plush residential area, a short walk from the serene Meadfoot Beach and away from the bustling town center. The rooms are beautifully renovated with new bathrooms, but we found them a bit compact and warm for our liking. The service staff were warm and professional, though lacking a personal touch. The dining offers a fantastic variety but starts a bit late for early risers. The location is convenient for exploring attractions on foot, but the uphill position may pose a challenge. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were upgraded from Superior to Gold and impressively clean, but there was a noticeable noise issue due to doors slamming and staff being loud early in the morning. Additionally, the lack of space and drying facilities in the rooms was a downside, and the decor felt slightly dated. However, the service was friendly and exceptional, making up for some of the room issues.

I had such a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were well-stocked with high-quality linens and towels, and the housekeeping was top-notch. The shared bathroom wall with the next room was a minor inconvenience, but overall, the cleanliness and service were fantastic. The location is unbeatable near the harbor and town center, although the uphill walk might be challenging for some. The dining experience offered a good selection of meals, and the facilities were satisfactory.
